HISTORY

The Compleat Kitchen was founded in 1977 by two Hawaiian ladies. Loving to cook, these two women started their business with the concept of meeting the desire for a more “convenient,” more “fun,” more “stylish” kitchen and it has been popular among its customers ever since.
Located in Hawaii in the Ala Moana Shopping Center and Kahala Shopping Mall, both stores receive visits from many locals and tourists. In 2001, a new Compleat Kitchen was opened in the Grandberry Mall in Minami Machida, Japan, which has been gaining popularity especially among local kitchen enthusiasts.

The Compleat Kitchen carries cooking utensils, kitchen accessories, textiles (table linen, etc), dishes, and household items, mainly imported from the mainland United States and Europe. With this 30 year anniversary, the Compleat Kitchen continues its tradition of creating “a store full of new discoveries” based on kitchen-life concepts which will gain and maintain the love and patronage of its customers.
